Kaweah MLRP

What is the Kaweah MLRP?

The Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District and regional partners received a $10 million block grant to support land repurposing in the Kaweah Subbasin from the MLRP over three and a half years (August 2022 - March 2026). The Kaweah Subbasin MLRP Program is committed to the selection and implementation of multibenefit projects that aim to reduce reliance on groundwater while supporting a viable agricultural economy and improving community and environmental health outcomes.
